MTV's Teen Cribs

Everyday when I get home from school, I normally turn on the tv after I cook something to eat. Usually I flip through the channels, always passing on MTV's trashy programming. Well last week I did something different. I stopped on MTV. They were airing an episode of MTV's Teen Cribs. At first it was intriging, but then it just became overwhelming and made me flat out mad. These kids, who do or never will do anything to deserve the things they have, own an endless supply of everything their hearts can and can't desire. Fourteen year olds have bedrooms the size of my house with a walk in closet that has a secret passage to their own personal three car garage containing their Corvette, atv, dirt bike, and spare Corvette (just incase they wreck their favorite one). Oh. This stuff just makes me sick. These kids are going to grow up not appreciating anything. I know it sounds like I'm just being a jealous asshole, and I'm not going to sit here and say I'm not jealous, but kids don't need to have all of these things. What value of a dollar, or worth, or work ethic are any of these kids going to have? For these kid's sake, let's just hope their parents have enough money to keep their kid's money flow coming, because if they don't, they kids will turn into bums. Just saying. Kid's need nice things, but not things that my parents dream about. I know that it sounds like I just have a beef with these pricks, but it's not me. What convinced me to write about Teen Cribs was that tonight I was talking with a friend, when they brought up Tee Crib's and how much they hated it too. Oh well. Maybe I can climb the success ladder and give my kids a life like that, and they can be the people everyone hates and is jealous of. Yeah, that's my life goal.
