LOST 6.13: The Last Recruit

Something that everyone should know about me is that I'm obsessed with LOST. As most of you know, LOST is in it's final season. This is very exciting because every episode is giving away answers every viewer has been craving for six years. Along with the excitement however, comes sadness. There are only 6 hours of new LOST left before it will be gone forever. This freaks me out. Seriously. The last time I lost a show was CBS's Jericho, which was only around for two seasons, one being only seven episodes. LOST is different though, because we are closing the series on the producers note. Carlton Cuse and Damon Lidelof know what they're doing, and how they want to end the series, and I'm grateful for that. They aren't going to drag the show on forever like ER and let itself lose all of the greatness LOST possess. Anyways, tonight's episode is Jack centric, I believe. This would be the first time all season that a character gets their second centric. With Hurley's group combining with Flocke's group, it should lead to a Sun and Jin reunion, which I'm planning on witnessing tonight. I will be SO glad for them to finally reunite. Remember way back in season four? That's the last time Sun saw Jin, when she thought she just watched him die on the freighter. However, The Island wasn't done with Jin, and he lived. Now, Sun is back to find her husband, leaving their young child, Yi Jeon, off island with no parents. Oh. Really? Sun would leave her child with no parents just so she could find her husband? That seems pretty selfish of Sun. Also, I HATE how the producers have reduced Sun's role to just searching for Jin. She has so much more potential. Sun really blossomed her character in seasons two-four, but ever since she has returned to The Island she has been consumed with finding Jin, leaving her with maybe one line an episode, with her one liners being something to this extent...."You've seen my husband?!" or "Where is Jin?". Hopefully after tonight's episode, Sun and Jin will finally be together again and they can move on to defeating Flocke and doing what they need to do to become The Island's new protector.
